Welcome to Flinzo. By downloading or using the Flinzo iOS application ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Who can use Flinzo
You must be at least 17 years old to use Flinzo. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
Your account
Flinzo requires an account so your sessions can be saved and synced securely. You can sign in with Sign in with Apple, Google, or an email and password. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. You can delete your account and its associated content at any time from Settings - Account - Delete Account. Our Privacy Policy explains the narrow security, subscription-restore, dispute, and legal records that may be retained after deletion.
What Flinzo does
Flinzo is an AI-powered assistant that helps you write messages, analyze conversations, and practice your communication. To provide these features, the screenshots, text, audio, and transcripts you choose to submit are sent through our secure backend to our third-party AI provider, OpenAI, which processes them to generate your result. Our Privacy Policy explains this processing, what is retained, and for how long. The suggestions Flinzo provides are generated by AI and are offered as ideas, not as professional advice. You are responsible for what you choose to send.
You may submit only content that you own, control, or are authorized to use and process. You grant Flinzo a limited license to transmit, process, and store that content only as needed to provide and secure the requested app functionality. You retain your rights in the content you submit.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Flinzo to:
- Harass, threaten, deceive, stalk, impersonate, or harm another person.
- Create sexual, romantic, or dating content involving minors.
- Use Flinzo to pressure someone, ignore consent, or manipulate someone into a situation they do not want.
- Generate hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, exploitative, or illegal content.
- Break any law or platform rule that applies to you.
AI replies are generated automatically. If you ever see a suggestion you find objectionable, you can report it directly from the app by pressing and holding the reply, then choosing "Report reply." We review reports, remove content that violates these Terms, and may terminate access for misuse.
Subscription and payments
Flinzo offers a limited number of free uses and one optional paid plan: Flinzo Pro Weekly for $9.99 per week. Eligible new subscribers may receive a 3-day free trial. Flinzo Pro unlocks additional features and higher daily limits. The subscription is billed through your Apple App Store account. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple ID settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Apple presents the final localized price and trial eligibility before purchase; pricing may vary by storefront and taxes.
AI-generated content
Because responses are generated by AI, they may occasionally be inaccurate, inappropriate, or not suited to your situation. Use your own judgement before acting on any suggestion. Flinzo is not a substitute for professional, legal, medical, therapeutic, or safety advice.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Flinzo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app or from any message you choose to send. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
Apple as third-party beneficiary
Your licence to use Flinzo is the Apple Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. These Terms govern your relationship with Flinzo and apply in addition to that licence. You acknowledge that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the Apple licence and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce it against you. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it.
Termination
You can stop using Flinzo at any time, and you can delete your account from Settings, then Account, then Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, in particular the acceptable-use rules above, or where we need to for security or legal reasons. Cancelling a paid subscription is handled through your Apple ID settings as described above; deleting your account does not by itself cancel an active App Store subscription.
Refunds
Purchases are made through the App Store, so refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions, not by Flinzo. We cannot issue, approve, or reverse a charge on your Apple account. To request a refund, use Apple's Report a Problem page or contact Apple Support. If you believe you were charged because something in Flinzo failed, write to us at the address below and we will help you document the problem for that request.
Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not shorten or refund the period you have already paid for, and you keep Pro access until that period ends.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will make it clear in the app or by email before it takes effect where the law requires that. Continued use of the app after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and Flinzo agree to try to resolve any dispute informally first by contacting each other at the address below. If that does not resolve it, the dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and both sides consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing here removes any right you have under the mandatory consumer-protection law of the country or state where you live, and nothing here limits your ability to bring a matter to a small-claims court or to a consumer or data-protection authority.
General
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, that provision is limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest stays in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer or assign these Terms; we may assign them to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, and your rights under them are unaffected. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and the Apple licence referenced above, are the entire agreement between you and Flinzo about the app, and they replace any earlier version of these Terms.
